Every child needs a great big snowman poem in their poetry notebook.
What's a "Great BIG Snowman" made of?  Snow from head to toe, of course!

Sing along to the tune of  "I'm a Little Teapot"; making this an excellent Snowman song for kids.

Incorporate Winter Facts for Kids, and a snowman experiment, with these printable Winter poems.

Make a little snowman, leave it out in the cold, observe, and record what happens.  Make another little snowman (3" high is all you need), and bring him inside where it's nice and warm.
