Craft Buckets

If you feed your baby formula, stop throwing away the containers!  They are sturdy, have flip-top lids, and can be used for many different purposes.  As Skyler would gulp her way through formula, I would wash them out, tear off the label, and save them for my classroom.

To keep distractions to a minimum, my students do not keep scissors or glue at their seats.  Instead, I taped a colored square to the sides of the formula containers (matching the table colors already organized with seat sacks), put scissors and glue sticks inside, and keep them on the back counter.  A special helper is chosen to pass out the table scissor buckets if needed.  They love being helpers!

This would make a great craft box to keep around the house, too!
